I’m Lakhvir — a qualified Chemistry teacher and Edexcel examiner with over 20 years’ experience, including serving as Head of Chemistry in both a grammar school and a private college. Because I mark real GCSE and A-level scripts, I teach students how examiners apply the mark scheme: the exact phrasing that secures credit, the meaning behind command words, and the precise techniques that produce top-band answers.
For students who want to pursue Chemistry at university, I also teach the subject in depth — building genuine understanding, analytical confidence, and the advanced problem-solving skills needed for competitive courses. I graduated with a first-class honours BSc in Chemistry from Queen Mary, University of London, before completing my PGCE and gaining QTS at King’s College London. Over two decades in the classroom — and in senior roles leading Chemistry departments — have taught me how to make the subject genuinely click for every learner.
